Arri Ultraprimes

Arri Ultra Primes offer 16 modern high performance lenses with the widest focal range of any prime lens set available. Their 16 lenses cover every cinematic need, from the unique Ultra Prime 8R extreme wide angle lens to the 180 mm telephoto Ultraprime. All 16 lenses are of exceptional optical quality, cover the full Super 35mm format and are super color matched to guarantee seamless cuts between shots. The Ultra Prime lenses are the only modern lenses that retain their excellent image quality even at close focus across the whole Super 35 frame.

Shoot HDs standard set consists of 16mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, plus a 135mm. They are all are rated T1.9, with internal focus mechanisms, no focus breathing and identical front element gauges for quick lens changes. This set of lenses is available as part of our Red One Ultimate kit.

Angenieux Zooms

Undoubtedly the best zoom lenses in the world, Shoot HD is pleased to offer, as part of our Red One Ultimate kit, the Angenieux Optimo 24-290mm zoom. It's a very versatile lens frequently demanded by top DOPs. The Optimo 24-290 has an extremely fast aperture speed of T2.8, with no ramping throughout the entire zoom range. The 24-290 has excellent contrast and color reproduction and matches well with the Arri Ultra Primes. As with the Arri Ultra Primes, there is no visible focus breathing and it ofers 327° focus rotation with over twenty five witness marks.

The Angenieux Optimo 24-290 is a very large lens weighing about 12Kg, not suitable for handheld work. We also have available shorter zooms in the Angenieux Optimo range, including the 15-40mm and the 17-80mm, rated at T2.6 and T2.2.

Cooke S4 Primes

Cooke's S4 Primes have become very popular with their warmth and gentle focus falloff that flatters faces gracefully. Shoot HD rents a set of five prime lenses in the most popular focal lengths, all with a T2 speed rating. The Cooke S4/i lenses feature electronic mechanisms that allow the lens to communicate with cameras, lens controllers and motion control systems. This data consists of vital information on lens setting, focusing distance, aperture and depth-of-field, hyperfocal distance, lens type and focal length.
